Just like the standing frames we’re famous for, our static frames are engineered from the toughest materials to provide world beating rigidity and stability. We’re dedicated to bringing you the most stable, toughest, and hardest wearing frames you can find for your money.
We’ve laboured over the designs to make the legs as slim as possible, to maximise your under desk space, but keep your desktop as steady as a rock. The bedrock is in the stylish wide steel feet, which maximise the surface area on the ground. This ensures the desk, and whatever is on the desk, remain completely stable, no matter how much pressure or weight you may apply.
Our desk frames are available in four distinct finishes to suit any style and preference. The matte black finish exudes a sleek and modern vibe, perfect for a contemporary workspace. Space gray offers a sophisticated and neutral option, blending seamlessly with various decor styles. The gray finish provides a subtle and versatile look, making it an ideal choice for both professional and home office settings. Lastly, the white finish brings a clean and fresh aesthetic, brightening up any room and creating an airy, open feel. Each finish is designed to enhance your workspace with both functionality and style.
Our grommet desktops include two preinstalled grommet covers, an additional method to adjust your cable management with top side openings designed for convenient cable placement. These 80mm channels are strategically positioned just inside the legs of your Desky Minimal Monitor Stand, and purposely designed so your cables drop directly into the Desky Integrated Cable & Power Channel located beneath the desktop. This precision alignment ensures a smooth vertical drop for all your monitor and peripheral wires, keeping them tucked away and out of sight to eliminate visual clutter.
To maintain a seamless minimalist look, we provide black grommets for dark desktops and white grommets for lighter desktop finishes. The grommets feature a clever shutter to protect your cables from fraying and can be closed entirely when not in use to keep your workspace tidy. Whether you prefer a completely solid desktop or the added flexibility of grommets, both options fully integrate with the Desky power and accessory ecosystem.
Save space and declutter your desktop with Desky's patent pending, easy- to-fit standing desk cable management design (AU 2025200994). Featuring cut-out areas that neatly fit multiple power ports will allow you to power up to 9 additional power points, 3 USB-A and 3 USB-C ports. The slim design works well with Desky's EzyClip Power Boards, allowing you to maximise room for any additional cables or other bulky items. To assist in decluttering, each desk also includes 10 free cable management ties, making it easy to route cables neatly underneath your desktop.
Desky offers a wide range of hardwood desk tops, sourced from various regions to ensure quality and sustainability. Our Walnut wood comes from America, along with White oak, White ash is sourced from France and White Oak is also sometimes sourced from Germany. We also utilize Teak wood and Saman from Laos, as well as Pheasantwood and Acacia butcher block from responsibly managed forests in Vietnam.
Each hardwood is carefully selected and crafted to create durable and beautiful desk tops. With our commitment to responsible sourcing, you can enjoy the natural beauty of hardwood while supporting sustainable practices.
Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.
Our desktops are air dried, coated with a single-pack lacquer and then air-cured before being packaged up. This process protects the beautiful natural finish of the wood, enhances its natural grains and tones and ensures there are no volatile organic compounds once finalised.
Desky promises that the highest quality materials and manufacturing procedures are met to ensure no harm to users young or old. All of our desktops meet Australian standards and cause no risk to any working environment.
Our clean and sustainable manufacturing procedures maintain the highest level of engineering and craftsmanship resulting in an odour-free clean work surface that won’t stink out your office with a new furniture smell.
Steel Reinforcements: Our Desky wooden desks have vertically inserted bars of reinforced steel beneath the tabletop, further strengthening our desks' already best-in-class strength, stability and thickness. This significant upgrade can also help to reduce wobbles and perhaps eliminate the possibility of warping. The quantity of reinforcements included on each tabletop varies by size, with more being added to longer table tops
Precision Slots: Desky is proactively avoiding even the tiniest risk of warpage with the help of precision cut slots, and our leading 1" (25mm) desktop thickness. The slots are precisely cut gaps using CNC technology that are embedded to the underside of table surfaces. These spacers offer the desk adequate flexibility and space to expand and contract organically without putting other portions of the table top under stress.
Threaded Inserts: Desky Desktop Inserts are designed and placed on our desktops with precision engineering to ensure optimal longevity. These machined threads enable precise tabletop installation on the frame, as well as the ability to build and disassemble your Desky as needed. This will ensure that your tabletop lasts a lifetime.
Butcher Block Solid Wood Construction: Our premium Acacia hardwood desktops are crafted using the highly durable and aesthetically rich butcher block technique. This method joins solid wood staves to create a robust, strong desktop that minimizes the risk of warping, ensuring you receive a premium Acacia butcher block desktop that's built to last.
FSC certified: Desky supports responsible forest management and is committed to producing quality products from quality materials that are backed by globally recognised certifications. We source our raw materials from suppliers who have been independently verified as compliant with a chain of custody standards, meaning that materials are produced using legally-sourced wood fibres from certified sustainably managed forests.

No. The Desky Zero Hardwood L-Shape Office Desk is purely a fixed frame office desk. It is designed with the same great stability and aesthetics as our Desky Dual Desk minus the motors and electrics.
Yes! Our Desky Zero Hardwood L-Shape Desks offer the flexibility to switch the return from left to right. This adaptable feature is also available with the desktop materials: Melamine, Bamboo, Softwood, and Rubberwood.
Our solid wood desktops are built to last and will actually harden over time. While they can get scratches and dents, many people feel this simply adds character. As the wood ages naturally, its colour may also shift, becoming slightly lighter or darker. Each desktop is finished with a smooth, durable polyurethane coating for protection.
Our Hardwood desktops are made from 100% solid wood and are built to last. The desktop is thicker than most desktops at 25mm and there are metal support braces within the desktop itself to help prevent sagging under load and at longer lengths.
No, unfortunately, our Hardwood desktops are only available in a select range of rectangular sizes, but we do have specific desktops available with Ergo Edges in a number of colors and finishes.
Yes, we offer this frame in 4 colors: white, matte black, space gray, and gray.
All of our Pheasantwood desktops have a unique front and back 'Live' edge. This means that no two desktops are the same and each edge will have the characteristic undulations of the natural shape of the timber slab it was cut from.
Please note: the edges will vary from square to rounded and each will vary in terms of the slope of the edge and the undulating shape of the edge. The first corner image on the product listing helps to best show how the edge can look https://daesky.com.au/products/dual-hardwood-stand-up-desk
Yes, our Hardwood desktops come with pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the desktop to your desk frame. You do not need a power drill or tools, just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys.
Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
Assembly will take as little as 30 minutes and each Hardwood desktop we supply comes with pre-drilled holes to make assembly as quick as possible without needing any power tools. You can do this by yourself but we do recommend having two people to turn the desk over when finished assembly.
For detailed, step by step instructions please watch the assembly video for each desk or refer to the instructions manual included with each desk.
Yes! We’ve partnered with TaskRabbit to make assembly easier than ever. TaskRabbit connects you with local taskers who can assist with putting your Desky products together—at a time that suits you.
I ordered a desky similar to this for my office at work, and loved it so much I had to order another for my office at home! I am pleased with the functionality and the mobility the desk offers me.
Great desk, highly reccomended. Delivery seamless, easy to assemble and preforms as advertised.
Desk is really solid and well made. Top looks awesome. Easy to put together, I did it myself in an hour - hour and a half. Only minor complaint was that it was slightly difficult to get the two desk top pieces to be level with each other when put together. It seemed like there should be more support at the seam between the two pieces. Was able to get pretty close to level via the leveling adjustments on the feet.
Love my Desky L shaped desk . Lots of room and Ashleigh’s customer service was exceptional . Im about to order some accessories as well .
Outstanding product and customer service. Highly recommend!!!!
Overall, the experience was great. We have a space on the second floor, and unfortunately, the shipping company can only deliver to the curb. Luckily, we had an elevator close by. We love that the desks are sturdy and we trust that they will hold up to ge taken down and put back together if we ever have to move office spaces.
The desk is very well constructed and easy to put together. Power management system is a godsend
My Desky is lovely and just what I was looking for. So easy to use and way more organized - thanks to the cable channel and built in power strips - than my old desk. I also have to say that the folks at Desky are top-notch. Friendly, knowledgeable, responsive...can't say thank you enough!
The desk is simply stunning. It wasn’t as long as I anticipated in my head, but it’s actually perfect for the spot it’s in and is as described.
Well done Desky.
I was tentative about paying soo much for a desk but now it is setup I can see that you get what you pay for. The desk is very solid and stable which is what I wanted.
The customer service through the process was also top notch.
